Monique Choy AE has 13 years' experience in copywriting, editing and proofreading for a diverse range of clients.

She has authored seven books for Lonely Planet and has written for a wide range of organisations, including ninemsn.com.au, the United Nations, the Australian Museum, even Hallmark greeting cards.

Monique is an accredited editor with the Institute of Professional Editors and has worked as an editor, sub-editor and proofreader for the Sydney Morning Herald, Lonely Planet, LexisNexis and Hinkler Books.

She has a degree in Communications and is currently undertaking a Master of New Media with a focus on writing for the internet.

Monique's digital story The Last Laugh was published on CD ROM by Interactive Press in 2006. This quirky romance is a multiple-choice fiction, allowing readers to follow their own trail through the twists and turns of an unlikely romance between two peculiar people.
