Antidote to Nettle Sting |
Nettles
are often found growing beside the dock plant, which provides a natural
antidote to the nettle's sting – simply rub a leaf on the affected
area. Nettles even provide their own antidote. Squeeze a little juice
from the leaf into the sting (wearing gloves) for instant relief.
Caesar's troops are said to have flayed themselves with nettle to keep out the winter cold and the sting can be useful in treating arthritis. |
